Suspect had a hand gun when he was approached by the Security Check point excuse me when he went to the Security Check point. We are told the secret service asked him to drop the gun. When he refused, they shot him. The white house did go onto lock down and the people inside and those around the white house were asked to stay put. We spoke to one of the guys.
