Reporter right, reggie. I would hate to guess at this point how many homes have been lost in here, but its safe to say i would say dozens. Look at this one behind me here, were on Stony Mountain circle, just one of many unfortunately that are in his condition, still smoldering. Every so often, jacob can show us in the distance, see a plume of black smoke. And, unfortunately, were realizing that thats probably another home thats going up as we speak. There are firefighters in here, but it seems theyre pretty much powerless to save the homes that are already burning. And theyre really just focusing on trying to save the houses next to them here on Stony Mountain circle. Where is your family home at . From the fire just around zero but maybe one mile from here. What did you see . I was sleeping my brother woke me up at 10 34 so i walked outside and we had a fire about 12 years ago but it was brighter and hotter than this. I just went and packed up my stuff. Outside, it looks like you were at a concert with a red ambience light just huge orange lighting. So you were hiking toward the fire . First of all why and what did you see . I like to take photos and videos so i thought it would be nice to get this perspective. So i hiked up about two miles and the fire was raging along the northridge so i took photos and videos but the wind was blowing down the ridge and all of a sudden the wind changed. So we heard the wind was blowing really hard. Yesterday earlier in the day we were talking about this was probably the windiest day. Reporter how bad was the fire across the ridge line . It was all the way from the base of the houses two miles to the top of the pe
