It s no surprise that when something is created, it s usually based on something else. In this case, the designer that works for Nike named Niek Pulles noticed that tendency with shoes and cars. The artist saw that many vehicles, their shape, design, and colors, are very similar to footwear design and vice versa. So he decided to put them side by side and share this discovery with the world on his Instagram page.
He told
Bored Panda: Well, it’s more like brainstorming and a personal visual puzzle. I love to tell stories. I’m a designer and currently work for Nike. So it’s more like sneaker research combined with my love for car design. I find similarities in the world of sport and the automotive industry. It’s all about speed and construction. Both are art forms, timeless sculptures. That’s what I love about it and that why I started this research. Niek for Speed is my platform and brainfart doing creative research.

We recently reported on Edison High School student Roger Zamarripa Jr. s puro San Antonio design that advanced in Vans’ Custom Culture shoe design competition. Turns out, Zamarripa will be joined by other San Antonio student-artists a three-person team, also from Edison, plus a team from East Central High School in the finals of the shoe company s annual contest.

drugs. mike green berg and mike golic, thanks for being with me. thank you. why do you think the jury did not convict him? why not? ultimately i think the only real witness that mattered in all of this was brian mcnamee and in and as far as unimpressive witnesses he may go to the top. this is something mike golic could have torn apart on the witness stand. it worked out well for roger clemens that way. his reputation is permanently damaged, don t you think? there s no doubt about it. it is the court of public opinion, i don t think is going to change much on him as far as their thoughts of him using performance enhancing drugs and the ultimate test will be the hall of fame. the writers have kind of made the decision if you re touched with peds, you re not getting into the hall of fame. i completely disagree with that train of thought. if you have numbers to be in the hall of fame, you should be in the hall of fame. if you want another way to talk about that that s
