Suspected abuse. Childhood sexual abuse survivor joel castaics fought to get the new law on the books. I was sexually abused at a high school in Southern California, a catholic high school, and the school knew i was being abused at the time of the abuse, but chose to cover it up as opposed to protecting me. Reporter this is not the first charge against brother farrington. He was removed from ministry in 2002 after he was accused of sexual abuse by at least six people. Farrington is now 78 and lives here at sacred heart in los gatos. We went to the center today but were unable to reach him. We also reached out to the diocese of san jose, but received no response.
