Reporter his wife says she finally convinced him to see a doctor who detected pneumonia, gave him antibiotics and certainty him home. Four days later he went to the hospital. He seemed to be getting worse. He started coughing. He had a coughing fit and was turning blue. And the nurses are running in trying to intubate him. Reporter barbeau, who worked in i. T. Went into a medicallyinduced coma eight days after first feeling sick. He would never regain consciousness. He was transferred here to California Pacific Medical Center where he stayed on life support for three weeks but the damage the flu did to his lungs was too much to overcome. Opponents of abortion are gearing up for the walk for life west coast held in San Francisco tomorrow. Tonight the prolife march comes as the senate will vote monday on a bill to ban abortion after 20 weeks. Amber is live in San Francisco tonight after speaking with both sides about this debate.
