The lunch rush has slowed a bit during the pandemic. Owner david getting a boost from a donor. Going day by day, wondering how you are going to make rent, somebody comes with a check for 1,500 out of just the kindness of his heart, thats something very amazing. It is one of 16 downtown restaurants gifted money from a program called meals to martinez. I think a lot of people when they hear about this, it doesnt make sense to them, they feel it is too good to be true. The local attorney donated 30,000 from the restaurants to the law offices with the help of the nonprofit main street martinez, the meal program is giving out 600 meal vouchers to people in need redeemable at one of the 16 re
