Contamination. I spoke with a fire captain and he told me they did an onsite test and came over and confirmed that test has revealed that it was, in fact, fentanyl. Earlier today they got a call that Police Officers processing evidence here at the Los Altos Police department were exposed to fentanyl. One female Police Officer was taken to the hospital. She is in stable condition. As you know fentanyl can be transmitted through touch and also through the air. And symptoms of exposure include respiratory problems. So what theyre doing now is the Santa Clara County Fire Department is going through each room of the Police Department to determine whether there is any additional exposure to fentanyl.
