Afternoon. Take a look at this. Storm tracker 4, i put it into motion because the orientation of this system is a little different from the past few ones, definitely the one we saw yesterday. The rain started in the north and then it spread southward. You can see theres a little bit of row tain so its approaching from the south and its going to push into the peninsula, bring some heavy rain into the south bay and eventually make its way into the south bay. We have some Lightning Strikes sitting offshore right now. Zooming in, we are seeing light rain for petaluma, san raphael. Oakland for the most part is dry. We have wet weather on the way. It really depends on where you are, but we are talking about wide spread rain into the afternoon. Certainly prepare yourself and make sure you have an umbrella. Were seeing snow in tahoe. Our chief meteorologist bill martin is tracking tonights rain. But first to one of the problem spots in sonoma where there has been some flooding in the past few hours, ken. Reporter well this is highway 121 and about an hour ago i was standing right hear in about 2inches of water. You could see all the water in the ditch by the side. This water was coming over the roadway. For one driver, this flooded road came out of nowhere. What happened here on highway 121 was certainly a flash flood. At least from dave bowens perspective. A couple of hours ago there was no water then poof. Reporter bowman and his truck may have been the first bowman and his truck may have been the first one to try to drive through the water. The flooding on 121 and other spots near sears point took longer to clear. Chp says the flooding happened suddenly. Slow down, Pay Attention to the roads. Other vehicles and drive cautious. Good morning, im Marci Gonzalez in for diana perez. Im john muller. We begin with breaking news from indiana. Police in elkhart say a gunman walked into a Martins Grocery store. Two were killed. One an employee, another a customer in her 40s. The suspect was pointing his gun at a second employee. They shot the gunman dead. Now trying to figure out what led to the shooting. Its a huge crime scene. The area where the shootings happened in the store are basically from one end of the store to the next. There were several, several rounds fired in there. Both from police and from the suspect. And police say they dont know if the gunman knew any of his victims. They say he was about 20 years old and lived in the neighborhood. Our other major story is the latest scandal involving the Nations Nuclear forces. More than three dozen launch officers have been relieved of duty for cheating on a test or covering it up. Its a major embarrassment for the air force. Abcs mary bruce has been following th
