Firefighters believe that number will go up. Today winds cooperating which allowed firefighters make some progress. A good day for firefighters today, the weather have been cooperating with us within the past 24 hours. It is giving us the opportunity to jump on or control objectives and being able to establish lines in a variety of parts of the fire. Reporter the north zone is looking good. In santa cruz county, firefighters have got a second control line from highway 1 to highway 9. Aircraft did make a few drops today but because of the smoke they had to stop.
