I think youre right, what most will thought would be their birth right, and the war in vietnam, in particular, as he say, the incredible violence of great leaders being struck down in the prime of their life. A lot of people think, maybe American Society is not what we thought it was going to be, and maybe we should challenge some of the assumptions that lay behind it, so yeah, the counterculture is very much about rethinking those premises based on violence and some of the hypocrisy that are inherent to the american dream.
