Was downgraded. It looks like it peaked in intensity late yesterday evening as a category 5. Watch the satellite imagery very losely, and the eye looking more ragged this morning. The bad news is its still a cat 5 hurricane. So its almost as strong as yesterday but slightly weaker. It looks like that weakening trend will continue. It will pass over jamaica and cus tuesday and over the bahamas as we head into wednesday and thursday. The track remains pretty similar to what weve had over the last couple days. It slowed down quite a bit. At one point it looked like it would be up here probably tuesday or wednesday. Now it looks more like wednesday or thursday some the track has slowed down about 24 hours. Now, where it goes from here, some of our longrange computer models bend it back toward the u. S. East coast. Some bend it over toward bermuda and eventually out into the atlantic. Monadnock Ledger-Transcript Published: 12/28/2020 4:58:17 PM After nearly a decade, the group spurring the conversation to build a new community auditorium and performance space at the ConVal Regional High School has disbanded, saying there has just not been enough financial support to keep going. The campaign, known locally as “Fill the Void,” sought to build a center, proposed to be named the Thornton Wilder Center for the Arts, in a U-shaped gap at the back of the high school. “It’s a lack of traction on funding and overall regional resources,” Rob Eichler, president of the board of directors for the Thornton Wilder Center for the Arts said Monday. “There are too many competing projects asking for philanthropy, volunteers and donations.”
