Yeah, it has been a real rough morning in the east bay when it comes to the freeways after this fiery crash that happened late last night. This was 680 north and the north main exit and walnut creek. For some reason this vehicle left the freeway hitting a tree and burst into flames. This happened just before 11 00 and when they put the fire out, authorities found the remains of at least three people in the wreckage. They were on scene there for several hours this morning. Before they towed away that vehicle. Took it to the Coroners Office where the investigation into the cause of that crash continues. Well, ne, we looking at unhealthy air quality once again. Good morning, amy. Hi, good morning, kumasi. Pg e started shutting off the power overnight in parts of napa and sonoma county. The utility said this should impact 172,000 customers. We are on our way up to napa county right now to check out the situation. Pg e says its doing this because the forecast is calling for dry and windy conditions. Calling this critical fire weather with a high ignition risk. They are afraid a power line could fall and start a fire. Pg e says while this weather calls for being on high alert, it does not look like the weather we saw in 2017 when the fire happened. This event doesnt have as much as we call upper level support with it. So, we dont anticipate it being as strong. They are also watching the walbridge fire jumped a containment area.
