Today there was several explosions at the plant in crosby and that sent more than two dalvin dozen deputies to the hospital with breathing problems. Multiple fires burning in Sonoma County. We just got an Emergency Alert from the Sonoma County sheriff talking about a number of fires burning in Sonoma County. Go to nbcbayarea. Firefighters are working through the night to monitor a fire near the napa airport that started about 2 30 at a salvage yard in American Canyon packed with dozens of vehicles. Strong winds helped that fire grow rapidly to 20 acres, smoke could be seen for miles around. Firefighters have a handle on that fire but they are staying there overnight monitoring hot spots. We have a lot of sunshine and its all for the inland valleys. Up to 89 degrees in san jose and 91 in livermore. 83 degrees in oakland today and 94 in concord. So with those high temperatures reaching the 90s, we will be nearing some record highs. In napa the forecast is 90 degrees, and the record is just two degrees above that. San francisco one degree shy of the record, and in san jose, we may be tying the record of 90 degrees that was set back in 2013. Well closely watch the thermometer as it rises today.
