The fumes from that fire spread for miles. 15,000 people sought medical help after starting to feel sick, a lot of them complaining about breathing issues. Blaze is only 10 contained. Abc news 7 reporter chris wynn with what theyre facing. Reporter residence watched the fire fights effort unfold before their eyes. Most of us have animals up here that we have to get out. Reporter last night landing strikes lightly started the askings fire burning close to the creek reserve. Fire fighter chief says access is limited. Theres no roads that go to the fire so crews are having a hard time hiking in getting to it. Reporter tonight at least 50 acres are burned. 100 personnel on the ground containing the fire. I was going to try to get down the hill and do a couple last minute errands but i dont know fingertip to make the trip down now. East bay mud issued the warning last night to residents in 267 homes in and near almeida point.
