He hope trains will be moving on these tracks by 8 00 tomorrow morning. They have workers up here on the track, behind me right now. Theyve been moving back and forth along these rails. It is getting dark. But ha theyre focusing on are the two straight tracks, just trying to get those rails fixed, so they can get these trains rolling again. Crews worked all night getting cars off the tracks near the concord station. And that same work continued well into the afternoon until the last car was off this stretch of mangled track. A deputy opened fire after the suspect allegedly rammed three squad cars. That suspect now in custody. Kimberly tere joining us at the Sheriffs Office in san jose with the details. Reporter the Sheriffs Office is still in the middle of this investigation, but i can certainly tell you what weve learned so far. The call came in about 5 30 this morning. A resident on croy road reported a suspicious car. The suspect sped down the driveway ramming his car into the patrol vehicles when they arrived. A deputy fired at least one shot toward the suspect whose car continued down the roadway, until it crashed in a ravine. The suspect took off. Based on information we had at the time, we believe that that suspect was armed and dangerous. What we did was we did a reverse 911 to all the residents in the area advising them to stay in their home. Lock their doors and shelter in place.
