Low pressure area over North Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal (BoB) has deepened further. It is likely to move west-northwest and become depression tomorrow and further strengthen to cyclonic storm over west central BoB day after tomorrow, in the late hours.
Southwest monsoon normally withdraws from East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, most parts of Maharashtra and some pockets of West Bengal by 10th Oct.
Another system is expected to form in the Bay of Bengal, close on the heels on the earlier one which now low Pressure area over parts of Uttar Pradesh and will gradually flatten. By the time it flattens completely we expect the system to mark its presence. This system will start as a cyclonic circulation forming around September 17 over North Bay of Bengal.
Many parts of Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Marathwada will start receiving rain activities. Light to moderate rain may also occur over Madhya Maharashtra and western parts of Madhya Pradesh from august 30
Intensity of rain will be more over Chhattisgarh and Odisha. However Southern districts of Jharkhand such as east and west Singhbhum, Jamshedpur, Khunti, Simdega, Gumla, Ranchi, Lohardaga, Bokaro and Lather may receive good rain.
