Over the central parts, the trijunction of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh will be at risk of ruinous stormy activity for a prolonged spell between 26th April and 04th May.
The eastern half of the country will witness rain and thundershowers over the next 2-3 days. This will cover Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Fresh western disturbance is arriving on 26th April.
Amidst crucial stage of harvest of standing crops, the danger looms large of yet another spell of stormy conditions embedded with hailstorm activity on 30th and 31st Mar and 01st April over Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
Moderate rain with few heavy spells may occur over East Madhya Pradesh and many parts of Chhattisgarh for next 24 hours. These thundershowers may be accompanied by strong wind and isolated hailstorm.
Rain may spread over Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, many parts of north Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh on January 30. Bihar, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh may witness scattered rain on January 31.
