Rainfall will begin over Telangana first and spread over to parts of Maharashtra from tomorrow, beginning from Marathwada and Marathwada initially. Around April 27 and thereafter, one can see Madhya Maharashtra seeing good rainfall as well.
Adjoining parts of Marathwada may see moderate rains but hailstorm may not be seen. The reason for these rains can be attributed to the extension of the Peninsular trough across Karnataka up to Madhya Maharashtra region.
The residual effect may also be seen on April 9. Rains will begin on April 6, with peak rainfall activity likely to be seen on April 7. There will be some reduction on April 8 and rains will be far and few on April 9 with some residual effect.
On march 17, we can expect all three subdivisions to observe both the rainfall as well as hailstorm. March 18, rains will be largely over Vidarbha as rains will start vacating some parts. Vidarbha may see rains until March 19 and 20 with remnants even affecting until March 21 as well.
we expect isolated light rain to occur for another 24 hours over parts of South Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Marathwada and at one or two places over Madhya Maharashtra and South East Madhya Pradesh.
