Northeast India is all set to see a rainy week ahead with rainfall activity of varying intensity. States of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur, Tripura and Nagaland will be seeing good rainfall.
rain may be heavy to very heavy over Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Nagaland and parts of East Assam and East Arunachal Pradesh between May 8 and 10. Rain may subside over East India after one week. But North East India may continue to receive weather activities until onset of monsoon.
The intensity and spread of rain may decrease to some extent over Northeast India during April 18 and 19. The intensity will once again go up April 20 onwards. The weather is not expected to go completely dry over Northeastern states for another 10 to 15 days.
We expect moderate to heavy rains to continue over many parts of Northeast India and till April 17. Thereafter, rain intensity will decrease but on and off light to moderate rain will continue for another few days.
Northeast India will continue to be lashed with moderate to heavy rains for the next one week or even more. Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh are likely to have heavy to very heavy rainfall between 12-14 April. Moderate rains, as such, will continue during the 2nd and 3rd week of April.
