AIA Malaysia consolidates creative duties with dentsu Details 24 February 2021 AIA Malaysia has consolidated its creative duties with dentsu Malaysia, with immediate effect. Dentsu s Merdeka LHS is currently already managing AIA PUBLIC Takaful, the company s takaful arm, and the consolidation will see dentsu manage AIA s conventional life entity. The duties will be led by dentsu One. According to AIA s spokesperson, the pitch was held in the fourth quarter of last year and saw dentsu, Leo Burnett, and Reprise Digital vying for the account.  The appointment seeks to maximise AIA s branding investments to drive sustainable business growth. Dentsu Malaysia Tan Kien Eng CEO PETALING JAYA: Dentsu Malaysia has appointed Tan Kien Eng (pic) as its new chief executive officer. He would report to Ashish Bhasin, CEO of dentsu Asia Pacific. Nicky Lim, Tan’s predecessor is moving on from his role to pursue other interests. Tan is a results-orientated leader with over 30 years’ experience in advertising and communications. Viewed by many as a home-grown creative icon he has held senior leadership roles in the industry for 15 years and has a strong reputation for client-centricity and brand growth. Formerly CEO of Publicis Groupe Malaysia, his teams have won multiple awards for their clients under his stewardship.

Leadership change at dentsu Malaysia as Tan Kien Eng takes over Details 05 February 2021 Dentsu Malaysia has named Tan Kien Eng as CEO, effective 8 February, taking over from Nicky Lim who is moving on to pursue other interests close to six years after he first took over in 2015. Tan (pictured left) will report to Ashish Bhasin, CEO, dentsu Asia Pacific. Meanwhile, Lim (pictured right) will leave on 15 February to ensure a smooth transition of leadership in the market. Tan will be responsible for continuing the business’ transformation journey, driving integration across media, creative and CXM service lines. He is also tasked with building a strong culture with its employees and growth for its clients business. Tan was most recently with Publicis Groupe Malaysia as CEO, stepping down after more than four years. He was first named to the role in 2016 and was CEO of Leo Burnett Malaysia prior to that, a position he took on in 2007.�

Publicis Groupe MY names new CEO as Tan Kien Eng steps down Details 18 January 2021 Publicis Groupe Malaysia s CEO Tan Kien Eng (pictured left) is stepping down from his role after more than four years. Loris Nold, CEO for Publicis Groupe Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, confirmed the news to A+M, adding that Neil Hudspeth (pictured right) will take over as CEO for Publicis Groupe Malaysia, reporting to him. Tan has decided to leave the Groupe to focus on the next chapter of his personal and professional life. I wish him good luck, Nold said but declined to comment on his plans for Malaysia and Asia Pacific in 2021.
