We have an air Quality Health advisory for that wildfire smoke and that covers parts of northern Douglas County, far eastern arapahoe county, far excuse me, far western i should say arapahoe county, far eastern Jefferson County and all areas under Denver County. If you are in a spot where the smoke gets thick, stay inside. Otherwise this is going to be more of an advisory for folks who have respiratory problems, if you have very old or very young people in the home, you may want to be keeping them indoors as well. Out around the chatridge fire wind gusts are expected to die down a bit as we head into overnight tonight. Those winds will shift towards the south west out of the southwest and theyll be gusting to about 8 Miles Per Hour come early saturday morning. Good morning, colorado. Good morning, beautiful blue sky. This morning an amber alert to find a teenage girl is over. Denver Police Tweeted there was no crime committed and the girl was not abducted. The whole alert was confusing in and of itself. Dpd was not even sure the girl was abducted in the first place. It started with a call for police got from a witness that said the teen was being attacked by a man in stapleton. Police asked people to be on the lookout for a gray van that dpd tweeted again no abduction, no crime committed. So theres that. Colorado and 29th has reopened after a deadly accident. A pedestrian died after getting stuck by a car struck by a car in denver. The victim was rushed to the hospital and later died. West bound 29th was shut down while crews worked on clearing the crash.
