Police say nakia aldridge was registering her children for school when two men got into a the time. The baby was not hurt. Aldridge died after being shot in the head and arm. Investigators believe the shooting was gapping related. Dwyane wade tweeted about his cousins death saying this was another act of senseless gun violence. Four kids lost their mom for no reason. Enough is enough. We know the name of the man shot and killed by fort collins police. 63yearold Jerry Jackson died of multiple gunshot wounds. Police responded to a dispute. Officers tased him but say he kept coming at him and they fired. Three officers have been placed on leave until the investigation is complete should investigators are trying to find out what happened to a person who died in the San Juan National forest. U. S. Forest Service Workers discovered human remains in a remote area of east pagosa springs. Officials say a man shot his brother and took off running. Its victim transported to an area hospital. Deputies are still looking in that area for the suspect. He is described as a 17year old hispanic male, five seven, sense of history pounds. He was last seen wearing a white tshirt stained with blood and white shorts. They believe he is armed. So the Larimer County Sheriffs Office is telling people to lock their doors. If you live in that shelter in place until they are able to apprehend this suspect or at least figure out where he is. Denver police are Virgin Galactic an officerinvolved shooting in denver. Yeah. They are in the baker neighborhood right now. This happened at fox street and ellsworth avenue west of broadway. Police say they were trying to arrest somebody, gunfire erupted. Officers fired their weapons. The suspect was shot and taken to the hospital. Last night torrential rains inundated a city swamping cars was nearly up to the rooftops of cars. Residents were urged to move to higher ground. And in indianapolis yesterday evening streets and intersections flooded after heavy rain left some drivers stranded. One driver tried to cross a flooded underpass. Didnt work out so well. We are talking about sunshine in the sky right now. There is a chance for storms this afternoon and the timing of it, ayeyaiyai, it could come, well, at a not so good time because there is a possibility for storms during the bron so there could be some lightning in that area. Hey, are you getting ready to do some work around the house today . We all know repainting a room can make a huge difference. Painting the baseboards, that can be tough. Up next in this team shows us two ways to welcome to fix this presented by home advisor. The free and easy way to find the best home pros. Hi everybody. So if you want to make a room in your house look like its been remodeled, we know that painting is a huge trick. But one thing that can actually make it, take it to a whole new level is making sure you properly paint your baseboards. Over time they can get scuffed, get dings and dents in them, you two ways. You need a little knowledge, you need the equipment, and its a little time consuming, but boy does to make it look fantastic. There are two ways you can repaint your baseboards. I will show you the outcome of both when were done. A great tip is to use a high gloss white paint. This will help keep off the scuffs and will make your room pop. For the first base board painting job you will need painters tape, white glossy paint, paint pan, a paint pad, a paint brush, drop cloth to protect the floor. First, you can use painters tape to mark off the walls and floor. Cover the floor with the drop cloth. Use your paint pad to paint the flap portion of the baseboards. Next use a paint brush to fill in the areas that the pad cant reach. Let it dry and reapply until its nice and new looking. And carefully remove the painters tape. If you want to take it one step further to make your baseboards look more like brand new baseboards or if you have to resurface your floors, here is a secret the experts use. You will need an xacto knife, pry bar, hammer, needle nose pliers, safety gloves, a belt sander or sandpaper, wood filler, latex caulking, a small ruler, a drop cloth, and white take an xacto knife to break the caulking seal from the baseboards at the wall. Use a pry bar to pry it loose from the wall. Pry baseboards from underneath so you dont damage your walls. Pull out the baseboards and once they are out you will need needle nosed pliers to pull out the nails. Use the safety gloves and twist and pull the nails towards you to get them out. If you cant get them out that way, you can really cut them baseboards. Next step. Use a lightly damp cloth to wipe down and get anything off of the baseboards. Now sand down the baseboards to get out any rough edges. Fill any holes or dents with wood filler. Once the filler dries, sand again. Now its time to paint. Over a drop roller to paint the baseboards. Let that paint dry and add another coat until its covered the way you like it. Once the baseboard is dry, nail them back into the wall. If you dont have a nail gun, hammer in nohead nails and use another nail to tap it in past the wood. Use caulking to finish it off at the top. Run your finger over the caulking right away to make sure you have a smooth seam to the wall. Put caulking over any nail holes and then you can cover so the difference between the two is when you paint it directly on the wall, it looks good but not as great if you just take it out, do the work off site and put it back in. But, boy, if you dont have the equipment to do that or you dont have the time, you can just paint it directly on the wall and get a fantastic look. Officials recommended a evacuation yesterday for bangladesh Police Killed one of the suspected masterminds of the july terror attack in dhaka after an hour long battle earlier today. Was behind an attack on a cafe in dak a last month where 22 people were killed. Bangladesh Security Forces killed three other militants in a raid on an isis hideout on the outskirts of the capital. Isis claimed responsibility for the cafe attack and they said who was killed earlier today was a bangladesh born canadian citizen and one of their national commanders. In georgia, dramatic body cam video shows a georgia Police Officer rescuing a man trapped in a burning vehicle. You can see the man in the back seat hanging out of the window as flames got closer. An officerinvolved shooting in denver that happened in the baker neighborhood. Its on fox street and police were trying to arrest somebody and shots were fired. Another breaking news story from this morning out of Larimer County. Deputies still looking for a shooting suspect and people are asking people to stay indoors. This is near overland trail and taft hill road. Officials say a man shot his brother and then took off. So the victim was hospital. Deputies are actively searching for the suspect in that area. The suspect described as a 17 yearold hispanic male, about 57, 140 pounds, last seen wearing a white tshirt, stained with blood, and white shorts. They believe he is armed. So the Larimer County Sheriffs Office is telling people to lock their doors if you live in that area, to shelter in place.
