A man was hit riding a scooter, he was rushed to the hospital where he died less than an hour later. Witnesses tell police what happened was an suv turned right on lehigh, hit the victim and dragged him for about 200 feet. After the victim was shaken loose from the underside of the car, the driver kept ongoing. Witnesses were able to get the tag number of that car. And Police Tracked that suv. They found it parked and unattended here on madison streets, about five minutes away from the scene. One of the Big Questions right now, who was driving. Was it the owner, was it someone else . One of the things investigators are working on. They want that search warrant to look at everything and piece it together, getting fingerprints and dna evidence to find out who was behind the wheel. Someone special this weekend. I want everyone to remember how strong he was and how great of a kid law and how much everyone loved him and how much he impacted everyones life. I wish he could see how much he meant to everyone. Reporter steven was a ninth grader and was a quarterback and captain of the Central Bucks West High School freshman football team. In his honor the entire team walked out with the kim family in a show of support before todays vigil. Freshman football coach says steven may have only been 14 years old but law a natural leader on and off the field. No matter what, on the practice field and in games he would always have a smile on his face. Some of that he was a real team player and im going to miss him so much. Reporter now believed that steven couldnt slow down his skateboard fast enough before entering that intersection. Reporter police say miguel colon ran over alicea and his mother Josephine Rivera at lehigh and mascher. Investigator say colon was driving a friends 2006 infiniti with his brother when they smashed into the two at a high rate of speed. The owner of the car went to police shortly after learning about the accident but police had to build their case. These investigations are very difficult proving somebody was driving a vehicle. There was two people in the car at the time so we had a little difficulty in proving the fact that he may have been driving. So, it just took some extra investigation.
