Regain the good in their community. Weve trained 80 people to be a part of Schuylkill River trail watch. The Schuylkill River trail watch is officially launched. 80 approachable faces Police Officers runners, walkers, bikers, volunteers, cruising the path monitoring activity and reporting any potential safety issues on the trail, day and night. Part of being a Strong Community is actually volunteer your time. Runners, walkers, all realize theyre a part of the same community on the trail. The citizens are part of what makes the city great and so working together getting to know who else is out there on the trail can make a big difference. Reporter trail watch is the latest in series of safety enhancements. Other improvements along the trail include working lights an new geo coding system if you call police and tell them which mile marker youre at they will know exactly where you are.
