Local Area Sees Slight Shift in New COVID-19 Cases

Des Moines, IA (KICD)– The Iowa Department of Public Health is reporting 172 new cases of COVID-19 in the state as of 11 a.m. Wednesday taking the pandemic total to just under 396 thousand total cases and 5,962 virus-related deaths.
Locally, the largest 24-hour increase is in Emmet County with three new cases followed by two in Clay County, one each in Buena Vista, Cherokee and Osceola Counties, no change in Dickinson, Kossuth and Palo Alto Counties, a one case reduction in Pocahontas County and a two case reduction in O’Brien County.

Locally, the largest 24-hour change is in Buena Vista and Kossuth Counties with four new cases each followed by three in Cherokee and Palo Alto Counties, two new cases in O’Brien and Pocahontas Counties, one in Emmet, a one case reduction in Dickinson County and a two case reduction in Clay and Osceola Counties.

IA, (KICD) The Iowa Department of Public Health is reporting 554 new cases of COVID-19 in the 48 hour period as of 11 A.M. Monday, taking the pandemic total to 395,349 cases and 5,959 virus-related deaths.
Locally, the largest increase was in Clay County with 4, Dickinson, O’Brien, and Osceola Counties reported 3 each, and Pocahontas reported 2 new cases. Multiple counties saw a reduction in cases, Buena Vista County saw a 4 case reduction, Cherokee and Emmet Counties saw a two case reduction each, and Kossuth and Palo Alto Counties saw a 1 case reduction each. There was one additional death reported in Pocahontas County.

Locally, the largest 24-hour increase is in Dickinson County with eight new cases followed by five in Emmet County, three in Buena Vista and Pocahontas Counties, two new cases in Clay County, one in Cherokee County, no change in O’Brien, Osceola or Palo Alto Counties and a two case REDUCTION in Kossuth County.
