At least two tornadoes were reported in the chicago area late yesterday. The areas they were spotted in are very rural. No initial reports of any damage from the tornadoes. Take a look at this. The scene at Wrigley Field in chicago. A strong thunderstorm bringing the tigers cubs game to a haul. The delay lasted more than two hours before the game could start again. Several suburban chicago areas were hit hard by the storms. Its believed a Lightning Strike ignited at least one house fire. At one point nearly 15,000 customers were without power. He was planning to kill a woman for knowing too much about the murder last week. They hoped someone recognizes the third suspect who is still loose. Happening now, crews are battling a grass fire in san jose that protect out around 10 00 last night and is burning in rough terrain in east san jose. So far, about four acres have burned. No hopes or structures are threatened and no injuries have been reported. Firefighters are also helping tackle the place. New, a wildfire is burning outofcontrol in fresno at state route 180 prompting mandatory evacuations near hum. Lake with a thousand people forced from their homes. 300 structures are threatened. Lightning sparked the fire. Since that time flames have charred 37 square miles. In washington state, firefighters and the National Guard are battling another Massive Wildfire that destroyed 170 square miles and destroyed
Coming down with this storm. Up to 20 inches of rain expected as it barrels its way through the bahamas. Thats whats next. A 20foot storm surge for the island. This is the largest evacuation in the history of the bahamas. Several islands are being evacuated, mandatory evacuations. They had some time to try to get out but 20 inches of rain already came down for places like Dominican Republic and puerto rico, still going to continue to come down through the bahamas. Heres where its tracking. This is the turn that we are all watching. This will determine whether or not its going to hit florida directly or go just to the east of it. The spaghetti plots show it there. If a cold front comes down it could help push this storm into the atlantic. The models are looking like its going straight for the carolina.
