Bring something snow to parts of northern florida, southern georgia and it moves right up off the coast bringing us snow by thursday morning. Big problem with the timing for the thursday morning commute. And the center. The storm is 250 miles off the coast. What this mean the most pronounced effect is along the coast. We have winter storm watching right up the eastern seaboard including all of our counties right along the coast. This is where i expect the highest snow amounts. As far as the timing, the noreaster the snow begins Late Wednesday night probably around 10 00 11 00 and the highest impact will be the thursday morning rush. Atlantic city airport reporting a wind chill of 7 degrees below zero and they really havent recovered much. Wind chills hovering very close to zero. Philadelphia feels like one below, cape may feels like three. Lancaster feels like 5 degrees below zero and the poconos currently the wind chill 19 degrees below zero. Now, the National Weather service has extended the wind chill advisory. They were supposed to be expiring at noon tomorrow. Instead, theyve been extended until 10 oclock sunday morning and that wind chill warning continues until then in the poconos, so this dangerous cold will be lasting most of the weekend. So, tomorrow morning, the wind chills even a little bit more extreme in some parts of our region than this morning. Below zero tomorrow morning and on the extreme southern Cape May County the shore line and sussex county, five to 10 below zero there.
