NCOC urges above 30 to get vaccinated   Published On NCOC urges above 30 to get vaccinated ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has asked all those people who are above 30 years of age to get vaccinated as soon as possible in order to prevent from COVID-19. In a message on Sunday, NCOC asked the above 30 people to get register by sending CNIC number to 1166 prior to visit vaccination center. “Walk in facility for above 40 years also needs prior registration ” NCOC added in its public awareness message. In a Social Media campaign, NCOC said that vaccines protect individuals and communities. “Vaccination not only protects you, it protects those who cannot be vaccinated ” it mentioned.

Markets to remain open till 8pm May 17 onwards: NCOC Pakistan Sat, May 15, 2021 The National Command and Operation Centre on Saturday announced that markets will remain open till 8pm from Monday, May 17 onwards. Besides this, public transport between provinces, cities and within cities will resume functioning from tomorrow (Sunday) instead of the previously announced May 17 date of resumption. A special session of the body managing the country s coronavirus response was held today to review the implementation of standard operating procedures throughout the stay home, stay safe May 8-16 period that had been set to curb the spread of the virus. It was chaired by Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar and co-chaired by National Coordinator Lieutenant General Hamood Uz Zaman Khan.

NCOC issues guidelines for Eid prayers Top Story May 12, 2021 ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Tuesday approved strict guidelines and safety protocols for holding Eidul Fitr prayers across the country. According to the guidelines, Eid prayers should be organised at open spaces with Covid protocols. In case if there was compulsion to offer Eid prayers in Masjid then windows and doors should be kept opened for good ventilation to reduce risk of infection and disease transmission. However, in order to reduce gatherings two to three Eid prayers at a venue with staggered timings and minimum strength are held. The clerics and religious leaders are advised to keep the sermon brief in order to reduce the prayer timings as the virus spread was on rise.
