(MURFREESBORO) Around 7:00 o'clock Sunday morning (2/13/2022), Murfreesboro Fire-Rescue was displatched to a commercial fire at Farrer Brothers Hardware and Rental at 1209 N. W. Broad Street. First responders reported smoke coming from roof vents as they pulled up to the business.
Once they entered the building, the firefighters discovered a a malfunction in the oil heater.
The good news was that there was no fire or smoke damage to the building. .

(MURFREESBORO) Around 1:15 Saturday afternoon (11/27/2021), Murfreesboro Fire-Rescue was called to a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Veterans Parkway and South Church Street (Highway 231-South, Shelbyville Highway). The accident involved two compact cars and a full-size pickup truck. Engine #10 was the first on-the-scene and found a Nissan car was fully engulfed in flames.
