MFR Seeking Accreditation May 06, 2021 at 02:20 pm by WGNS (MURFREESBORO)  Last year Murfreesboro Fire-Rescue received the coveted ISO #1 rating. Chief Mark Foulks tells WGNS that the agency is now working on accreditation by the Center for Public Safety Excellence.  On the week of May 17th, a peer group will come check the accomplishments of the local fire department and interview its members.    Foulks indicated that this process has been in works for over three-years. The Commission on Fire Accreditation International (CFAI) will provide your agency the accreditation model, various accreditation publications and trainings, and access to experienced peer assessors.
