Murfreesboro TN - A family of six and 17pets, including dogs, cats, and a guinea pig, escaped a 6:20AM Sunday morning (6/2/2024) blaze at their home on Painted Pony Drive. Firefighters from Murfreesboro Fire-Rescue Department quickly extinguished the fire. Ladder 2’s emergency responders assisted two of the six people out of the burning home. Everyone else got out on their own. The Heart of Tennessee Chapter of the American Red Cross is assisting the family.
