The attacker identified as Mohammed Al Shamrani was killed in an exchange of gunfire with deputies. Authorities say he was a member of the Saudi Air Force and was training at the base. Investigators say it is too early to draw conclusions about what led to the attack. We are not prepared at this hour to confirm what may have motivated the shooter to commit this horrific act today.
