There has been speculation, that linick was looking at secretary pompeos use of a political aide to run errands for him, but the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs committee believes that was Something Else read it and he said i had learned that there may be another reason for mr. Linicks firing. His office was investigating trumps phony declaration of an emergency so he could send weapons to saudi arabia. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi weighing in. Listen here. The attorney general was giving us a bit of a preview of the durham report, and he may have been trying to level set expectations. There has been a lot of chatter, including some tweets by the president that some people expect that there could ultimately be an indictment either on obama or Vice President biden, so i think with the attorney general did was said lets pump the brakes here. He has been working closely with their own. He probably has a pretty good sense of what hes finding, so hes probably just trying to get it out there that there may well be criminal indictments of other individuals, at this point, there are no plans to indict president obama or joe biden. Bill if you think this is a preview, what problems did he lay out in that statement . I think what he left for us is he has made no allusion whatsoever that he is uncovering a significant wrongdoing behind the scenes in the runup to the 2016 election. Bill barr has spoken about abuse of the process, and i think what he said today is entirely consistent with that, that durham is uncovering evidence of wrongdoing, but i think he wanted to draw a line today that thus far, it has not extended to the very top of the administration. Bill he also said that what happened to President Trump was a grave injustice. Also involved in all false and utterly baseless russian collusion narrative. Where is he going with that, do you think . [laughs] well, not much mystery about where hes going with all of that. I think that the attorney generals main message today was a good one, which was to say we are not going to let those she made the point that election should be decided on the merits, not decisions to prosecute on that kind of thing. Its really about restarting so that we can start sooner and not get a setback by having a lot of infections. And we are going to be living with this virus for quite some time, so i guess my caution is not to let that bill my feelings is that heres the way i view it now.
