Constructed over seven years by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), the MTHL stands as the country’s longest sea bridge, designed to last a century.
Metro Lines 4 and 4A cover a distance of 35.2 km, commencing from Wadala and concluding at Kasarvadavali, Thane, with an extension of Metro Line 4A from Kasarawadavalli, Thane, to Gaimukh, Ghodbunder Road, also in Thane. Civil work for these elevated Metro lines has achieved 65 per cent completion. This line is expected to be ready by mid-2025.
