Racing towards completion: Work on several Metro lines on track

Metro Lines 4 and 4A cover a distance of 35.2 km, commencing from Wadala and concluding at Kasarvadavali, Thane, with an extension of Metro Line 4A from Kasarawadavalli, Thane, to Gaimukh, Ghodbunder Road, also in Thane. Civil work for these elevated Metro lines has achieved 65 per cent completion. This line is expected to be ready by mid-2025.

Changing City: Metro Line 6 will bring down traffic on road, suburban railways.

Around 30% of road traffic of JVLR will get shifted to Metro Line 6, once operational. This elevated corridor has India's tallest station at a height equivalent to a 10-storeyed building. Also, it is the city's only Metro having a flyover below it.
