reporter: the fire killed one of the two dogs. so what caused the fire? investigators are looking into that . the six men thought to be holding up inside the house robbed a man through craigslist earlier this the day. the victim stated that six males, mixed races, all armed robbed and beat him then left the scene in a green vehicle with chrome rims. reporter: police say it s the second craigslist robbery in vallejo in a month. the family that lived here wasn t home at the time, and they tell me they don t know who the suspects are and why they came here. san francisco s fire department has a new report detailing what happened at a deadly house fire where two firefighters lost their lives. it happened last june in the diamond heights neighborhood. the report says the two firefighters died of extreme heat. during the fire, a window blew out, creating a hole in the home that kept feeding oxygen to the fire. the report says this helped to raise temperatures inside the ho

at around 5:00 yesterday evening. an undercover berkeley police officer was in the silver car that you can see there hailing a suspect in the maroon car when officers were on grove way near center street they decided to arrest him at the stop light. officers say the suspect then backed up his vehicle pinning the berkeley officer between the two cars. other officers then surrounded the cars, one armed with an assault rifle. i heard two shots from here. and then i heard two more. so four shots altogether. reporter: now, you can see from the doorjamb on the driver s side several bullet holes indicating where the officer was standing when he opened fire. the pinned officer did have leg and hand injuries. both he and the suspect are expected to live. the berkeley police department says they have been looking for him for some time with a warrant for his arrest but haven t said why they felt the need to pull him over at 5:00 in the middle of rush hour traffic in castro valley. s
