let s go back to the desk. copper thieves are targeting san francisco schools. two schools in the sunset district have been hit. ktvu channel 2 reporter jade hernandez has more on why copper is in such high demand. reporter: that is right. the sign here at the school says no trespassing but thieves are not paying attention to that sign. in fact, right here in the sunset direct thieves are after copper. it puts copper between $2-$4 a pound. we are live at the alice fong yu school. they struck the school last week on wednesday, thursday, friday, and saturday. targeting a construction site on campus. police put a additional patrols in plain closed officers in the area. the team also has a security guard. the police department has a description of the thief but are not willing to release it since this is an ongoing investigation. this isn t the only school administration dealing with left. the french school located at 12:01 ortega street had employee witness thieves removing
