New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), on Thursday, claimed that it has managed to attract the traditional voter of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), as was displayed during the civic body by-polls on Wednesday. Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and chief spokesperson Saurabh Bhardwaj said that the inability to win even a single seat in the by-polls was a setback for the BJP and added that the party s vote share decreased in all the wards, the elections for which were held on February 28.
The Aam Adami Party has demanded early Municipal Corporation of Delhi polls, due in 2022, after registering victory on four out of five seats that went to bypolls on Sunday.
After AAP won four out of five MCD seats that went to bypolls recently, party chief Arvind Kejriwal alleged that the BJP had turned the MCD into 'most corrupt department' and now people want his party to clean it.
