Most of it was in the Central Valley and the pacific. There is still rain. Look at the showers. Actually, there is more good news because it has been light rain. But when you start to get into the bands of yellow and orange, and into mendocino, that is an example of this lightning. That potential will stay with us until 10 00 this morning. Here we go, we are looking at our extreme heat continuing for us today and with it, with those daytime highs, likely tying or breaking records. We have some cooling centers open. Santa rosa will have them from 11 00 to 7 00 four people trying to get some relief from the heat at Rincon Valley library and the Salvation Army senior center. If you do go out there, you will need to wear your mask as well as social distance. In santa rosa, highs are in the triple digits. It is 104 in concord and around the bay, low to mid 80s. 80 for San Francisco and 86 for oakland.
