Scooter in a parking lot outside her mothers apartment. The 8yearold disappeared just after 5 00 last night. We had no sign of her for more than 24 hours. Just before 8 00 tonight, police came swarming into the parking lot of the tannery arts center, where madyson lived with her mother. Witnesses say officers took a 15yearold boy away from handcuffs. We get the breaking news tonight from Jana Katsuyama. Shes been at the scene working to get the latest details from the police and the fbi. Reporter julie, the police chief of Santa Cruz Police Department Just finished a News Conference here. He was the one who made this announcement. He tells us at 7 55 tonight, one of the detectives discovered a body inside a dumpster thats located back there in the garage area of this apartment complex, where Maddy Middleton lived. They say it appeared to be that of a young female. They have not positively identified the body, but he says that

That is correct. But it is going to be very warm for some and nice for others. There are some cool readings on the lows. Especially by the coast. Ill tell you the water temps drop into the 50s and the coastal lows without any fog fallow suit as well. Mostly clear. Any patchy fog wont last long or a few high clouds. No big deal. I saw two sights near there. One 64, one 67. The closest one was 64. Not much of a breeze. The direction is almost southwest more than west. Fog has returned and its very shallow. It will play into a much cooler coastal forecast. 60s and 70s inland. 50s for some. 50s and 60s closer toward the coast and around the beaches. It will be very hot. Near 100s. All right sal sal. I cant find any grass fires. I looked at highway 24 at 4 00 there was nothing there were. I looked again at 12 minutes after there was a one on the hail side there. You can see for yourself the live picture. I see blue lights as well as red lights there. It appear there is is help on the way. Highway 24 is not effected. I did hear cal fire dispatch to the area. Reporter more evacuations. It is heading toward highway 20 and if flames jump over the road, it could threaten the community of clear lake oaks. There is a heavy bay area presence helping fight this fire. They posted this photo of firefighters at the scene. San francisco deployed five engines. Two in lake county. Now an Evacuation Center has been set up at Middletown High School to help people with tho where else to go. Right now there are almost 7,000 firefighters battling to 14 large wild fires here in california. Dave and pam back to you. Also a grass fire tore through a mobile Home Community in the delta destroying homes and cars. It started in an area known as pirates layer marina. That is south of the city of isleton. That fire started in brush and trees behind the Mobile Home Park and strong winds fanned the flames. Several mobile homes were destroyed. Six others damaged. Look at those pictures.
