It not only takes away from the licensed businesses here outside the stadium, it also presents a safety and Public Health issue. Reporter those were the words 54yearold Nicole Kennedy told her daughter before they wheeled her into surgery at high land hospital. She was coming down to take the dog walking. Reporter that was at about 10 00 this morning here in the 2600 block of 63rd avenue. Two pit bulls apparently escaped from the neighbors yard and killed nicoles dog before malling hmall i mauling her and the man who came to help. Im just waiting on the phone call. The nurse was cleaning her up while the operating people were coming in. I thought my mom was dead. Reporter the pit bulls are in the custody of animal control. Nicoles dog was supposed to be turned over to animal control because of allegations it had bitten someone. Theyve got to do some type of justice for my mom. Shes really bad. The driver of that dump truck was pinned under his vehicle. First responders were able to get the man out, but they were unable to save him. Everyone on the muni bus is okay. But five passengers suffered minor injuries. At one point the crash blocked the three right lines on southbound 101 causing this mess. Two northbound lanes were also blocked by emergency vehicles. The backup, as you can see, stretched all the way through bridge. Y and across the bay it was really, really bad tonight. The chp tweeted this video a little while ago of the dump truck being uprighted about 45 minutes ago. All lanes were reopened. A man who escaped a hawaii Psychiatric Hospital and fled to the bay area told a judge that he wants to stay here.
