Opening late summer 2021, Pan Pacific London is set to become the premier meeting and events venue in the City of London. Located a two minute walk from London Liverpool Street Station, the hotel will feature the most technologically advanced ballroom in the area, accommodating up to 400 guests, as well as an Event Emporium and nine innovative and flexible meeting and events venues.
Ensuring seamless management and implementation all under one roof, a dedicated in-house events management team plus state-of-the-art technology, superfast WiFi and 5G receivers will ensure the hotel is fully equipped to cater for all styles of meetings and events including virtual and hybrid set ups.
The design and build of extensions to platforms 16 and 17 at London Liverpool Street Station has been successfully completed.
The work – undertaken by construction firm BCM – will increase capacity for the Elizabeth line’s new 205m full length units (FLU) trains.
Platform 18 at the station has also been taken out of use as an operational platform.
A key aim for the project was to complete the platform extensions and associated works by the end of May to ensure the client MTR Crossrail could introduce the new rolling stock.
This involved the management and interface of multiple contractors to deliver specialist activities such as modular platform extensions, slab track installation and multidisciplinary design.
