After two terms serving on Milton Town Council, Vice Mayor Kevin Kelly, 70, will officially leave office in April after declining to seek re-election.
“It has been a great honor to have served the people of Milton,” he said. “I have worked determinedly for the people of our terrific town, and I hope I will be judged to have served honorably. I have always believed that as important as it is to make decisions, it is equally important to step back and assess the impact of the decisions made, and I believe that is best accomplished as a private citizen.”

Four council candidates have filed to run for two seats in this year’s Milton election.
Seeking office will be Allen Sangree, former Councilman Emory West, former councilman and project coordinator John Collier, and Lee Revis-Plank.
One of the seats was held by former Councilman Charlie Fleetwood, who resigned in December due to health reasons, and the other by Councilman Kevin Kelly, who did not file for re-election.
Revis-Plank has served on the board of the Milton Historical Society and is a member of the Historic Preservation Committee, where she’s served since 2016.

From Federal Street to the trestle bridge, the committee recommends installing four lights, supplied by Delmarva Power, consisting of three GranVille-style, acorn-shaped lights, and one shoebox-style light. The first light would be 80 feet from the trail entrance, with other lights placed 150 to 176 feet apart. The shoebox fixture would be closest
