February 19, 2021 Kara Briggs Delaware Historical and Cultural Affairs Office and Preservation Delaware Inc. will present a historic preservation tax credit workshop from 6 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 23, via Zoom. Historic preservation tax credits are available for homeowners and businesses. Architectural historian Kara Briggs from the HCA Office will outline qualifications for income or franchise tax credits to restore historic structures, and discuss state and federal programs. Organizers encourage real estate professionals, contractors, developers, tax attorneys, accountants and the general public to attend. The moderator will be Leila Hamroun, a senior preservation architect for Tetra Tech and a Preservation Delaware board member.
