The glass fire has burned at least 800 acres in the north bay and napa county. Several areas in the county are under mandatory Evacuation Orders right now. Visits to the respiratory urgent care center. Now at 10 wildfires continue to rage up and down the west coast leading to some of the worst air quality on the planet. Right now right here in the bay area, thank you for joining us at 10 oclock everybody im grant lotus and im Vicki Liviakis a thick blanket of smoke has been hovering over the bay area for days now making it. Hard to breathe unhealthy to be outside. This is what many people experienced today. And unfortunately that smoke is expected to linger right on through the weekend chief meteorologist Lawrence Karnow joins us live as we went from orange on wednesday to gray worse today and the air quality really deteriorated as the week progressed, yeah, you know all that smoke from up above all the orange skies. That all makes down to the surface down thats where we sit we dont have a real way to get out of town unless were to get a storm. Good wind event to start to mix that out were not even seeing the heating that we normally see
