At the beginning of each year’s Leadership Fiji program, as part of the opening retreat, participants are required to define a vision that they want Fiji to look like in 10 years’ time. While all their activities, events and community engagements for that year are aligned to this vision, in concluding the year, participants are also required to present a plan for Fiji, with strategies and actions they will commit to do going forward as a group or as individuals.
The Fellows Program requires participants to commit to another year (after their Leadership Fiji program) of service through community engagement that is aligned to their vision for Fiji and this was first established in 2006 when the Leadership Fiji 2005 Alumni took on the Leadership Fiji Board challenge to be the first year group to implement this fellows program initiative.

The second round of call for funding for the Leadership Fiji (LF) Community Fund up to $10,000 will begin from today, March 1 and will end on April 31, 2021.
The LF Community Fund according to a statement will be receiving applications in the following areas: Child Development, Education, Food & Nutrition, Animal Protection, Development and Protection of Women and families, Leadership Training, Promoting Democracy, Free Exchange of Ideas/Knowledge and Sustainable Community Environmental Projects.
