Delaware. And certainly this still doesnt feel good for the 1,700 or so employees losing their job as part of this merger. But today we know the region isnt completely going to lose its identity, in fact will have a pretty significant impact. The headline is the merger that will create three companies the major Agricultural Products division will be headquartered at chestnut run just west of down toin wilmington. Iowa and indiana really wanted the headquarters, but the governor says ready to go work force here, great collaboration with a number of state offices and tax incentives made delaware a great spot. This doesnt help employees already losing their jobs but doesnt make a bad situation worse. In fact, the governor believes its going to create lots of new opportunities for lots of people moving forward. This is a big deal to the average delawarean as well. Means more of their neighbors are going to be employed. It can be devastating on a community when a lot of people are let go al
