And 39 down the shore in long branch. Throughout the day, skies will be bright. The chill is back this morning. Then it turns into a comfortable 60 degrees, well above average. Taxes. The county executive estimates almost 8 million could be generated over a 30year span. I thought it was a completely nutty idea. And it really needed to be stopped right now. Reporter Lenny Roberts with the committee for green foothills is leading the charge against the idea. 280 is a state scenic highway. And caltrans has named it the worlds most beautiful freeway which, um, it continues today. And billboards recover are not allowed. Reporter at least three supervisors are open to look at the idea but they were unavailable for comment today. And it did gain traction among at least one driver i spoke with who says billboards could be done in a way that wont spoil the natural beauty. I think its beautiful regardless if theyre there or not. I think the best thing to do is to take out things that are unnecessary and put billboards up. We need money. Precinct this time police say he stole this greyhound bus, directly from the Port Authority terminal, and he high tailed it to brooklyn. Police say the bus arrived in new york from philadelphia at 11 00 a. M. It was slated to leave for another trip at 2 15 p. M. At 1 30 greyhound workers realized the bus was gone. Greyhound called their headquarters in texas, and it was quickly located in brooklyn. A spokesperson said because all the coaches are occupied with gps tracking mechanisms, the bus was recovered quickly. He was found driving the bus near 3rd avenue and union street. No passengers were on board. He has seemingly had a criminal fascination with all modes of transportation since he was a teen, racking up multiple arrests, and in 2004, for attempted theft for a Long Island Railroad train, in 2008 for impersonating a transit workerring and in 2010, he was arrested for stealing a trailsway bus from a depot in hoboken new jersey.
