Precinct this time police say he stole this greyhound bus, directly from the Port Authority terminal, and he high tailed it to brooklyn. Police say the bus arrived in new york from philadelphia at 11 00 a. M. It was slated to leave for another trip at 2 15 p. M. At 1 30 greyhound workers realized the bus was gone. Greyhound called their headquarters in texas, and it was quickly located in brooklyn. A spokesperson said because all the coaches are occupied with gps tracking mechanisms, the bus was recovered quickly. He was found driving the bus near 3rd avenue and union street. No passengers were on board. He has seemingly had a criminal fascination with all modes of transportation since he was a teen, racking up multiple arrests, and in 2004, for attempted theft for a Long Island Railroad train, in 2008 for impersonating a transit workerring and in 2010, he was arrested for stealing a trailsway bus from a depot in hoboken new jersey. Police say mccallum was wearing a fake badge when he was placed under arrest. His attorneys for Previous Court appearances said he suffers from a highfunctioning form of autism. New tonight, the latest case of people pointing lasers at aircraft hits close to home. Three news helicopters were targeted today including our own chopper 2. Reporter two people are under arrest tonight, and it all started this afternoon when chopper 2 was flying over a scene for a story in the park slope neighborhood. Bierman saw a laser bouncing around several times inside of the cockpit. When we would look in there, we got laserred, and nypd was right next to us, and they hovered above the place, and it was a green laser. An nypd helicopter responded and officers on the ground were able to track the laser to the back of a building on the 900 block of fulton street, where they arrested two men. Two other news choppers also reported being hit by lasers, and one was near chopper 2, 6 miles for laguardia, and the other was near Newark International airport. The suspects have not been charged.
