Vice president taylor welcome to what is going to be the continued meeting from august 19 as well as concurrently the september 2 meeting of the San Francisco Police Commission. As some of you may be aware, we lost quorum at the last Police Commission meeting due to technical difficulties beyond our control. So at that time, we had completed the chiefs report, the d. P. A. Directors report, and line item 1 before we had to adjourn. Were going to pick up tonight where we left off, so its going to be the president ial report, commission report, and Public Comment. We want to make sure the public has an opportunity to comment on items from the august 19 agenda. So thats how were going to proceed, and then after that, we will continue the remaining items on the september 2 and tonights meeting, and once thats done, we will adjourn that meeting and begin september 2. Good afternoon. This is a reimbursement for cal training to relocate two poles they are putting into electrified cal trains. We have an easement. We dont own the property and the fee. We have the three and four line in the easement and want to be able to preserve in the future to run the four lines. We relocated the pole and were able to successfully come up with a way to do that. Or if you decide to run for Public Office. You know, when i decided to run for supervisor, i wanted to be a good supervisor for the people of the district i represent, where i grew up in. And so that entailed making sure i knew how to do policy and legislation and i understand how the process worked and the city worked. And the good news id been on commissions and other places. So i understood it. But i actually went back to school late in life, before i ran, to get my masters in public administration. And i ended up graduating from u. S. F. With honors, because i was committed to making sure that i was the best policymaker for the people that i represented. And im not suggesting that you do that. Its just that whatever role you want to play, you set your sights on that role and you make sure that youre prepared to take it on an
